Morph is taking over Tate Britain on Thursday 4th August! Visitors to the museum can join in with a special one-day Digital Makers event, hosted by Aardman and including the chance to make your very on Morph model.
Designed for 8-14 year-olds, the workshop is a great opportunity for budding animators to get an insight into storytelling and transforming your ideas into a stop-motion animation. You’ll get to design a prank and ‘remix’ the Tate collection, getting creative and learning about new technologies along the way. By the end of the session, you’ll have picked up the basics to get you on your way to becoming a digital artist.
With the help of senior model maker Jim Parkyn you’ll also have a chance to try your hand at model making, creating your very own Morph clay figure to take home with you.
The workshop runs from 11am-4pm and is free for visitors. Find out full information on the Tate website.
