Well done to everyone who took part in our 2021 Morph in the World photo competition – we loved seeing your creativity shine through in some amazing photos! After taking a break last year, due to Covid restrictions stopping most of us from travelling very far, we were delighted to see you up for the challenge again this year, even if life hasn’t gone fully back to normal yet.
Competition judge Peter Lord was really impressed with your enthusiasm for the challenge and had the difficult task of choosing just one winner to receive our special bespoke Morph in the World trophy. The team enjoyed seeing you have fun with your Morphs at home, in the garden, on days out, camping trips and hanging out at the beach. Even if you weren’t able to travel far this year, we were happy to see you getting creative closer to home!
Peter chose Ziyad as the winner of this year’s competition for his fun shots of Morph and Chas getting up to mischief in a popcorn machine…yes, there really is no limit to your amazing imaginations! Peter says of Ziyad’s models: “They’re beautifully modelled, indeed professionally modelled, they’re in good poses and it’s a really funny use of a real-world setting!”
This year, we also awarded two runners up prizes, one to Marcus for his brilliant picture of Morph dressed up in Roman attire for a visit to the famous Hadrian’s Wall, and one to Kiahna for a lovely shot of Morph and Chas on a camping trip, enjoying a spot of marshmallow toasting on the fire!
You’ll also find some of other stand-out entries in Morph’s Facebook album – Peter wanted to commend these entries as they all perfectly encapsulate the spirit of the Morph in the World concept. We loved seeing Morph doing his bit for the NHS in Sally’s brilliant photo, while Joshua showed Morph being sized up by the resident cat – Morph plus real life animals never fails to make us smile! Then we had a clever idea from Kirstie, who staged a great photo of Morph in the Antarctic…without leaving home! Finally, we loved Oliver’s sweet photo, taken on a camping trip with his Morph, and Shannon’s lovely shots of Morph enjoying some well earned time by the pool!
Well done to everyone who took part – we loved seeing all your creative ideas and we hope you enjoyed taking your Morph out and about this summer.
