Golden Morph awarded to school pupils

Into Film is a charity which is dedicated to putting film at the heart of children and young people’s learning. At the recent inaugural awards ceremony it was announced that Thurstonland School in West Yorkshire had won The Golden Morph for Best Animation in the 12s and Under category.

Aardman’s very own Merlin Crossingham, who directed the latest series of Morph, presented pupils from Thurstonland School with a specially-designed Golden Morph Award. The young film makers, aged 9 -11, produced MONKEY AND WOMBAT, an animated short telling the tale of the heroic feats performed by the animals when flooding strikes their home and their friends are threatened by the rising waters.
